“As great as the infinite space beyond is the space within the lotus of the heart. Both heaven and earth are contained in the inner space, both fire and air, sun and moon, lightning and stars. Whether we know it in this world or know it not, everything is contained in that inner space.”
Chandogya Upanishad
ONENESS OF LIFE provides a space.
Besides the outer space of a physical place where we can meet, our work is devoted to offering an inner space. In a culture that has forgotten the meaning and value of space – of sacred space – primarily encouraging people to immerse themselves into ceaseless doing and striving for goals, and into a solely materialistic relationship to life, we feel the need for space in which the soul can breathe.
In this inner space we remember and reclaim the ancient art of listening, the capacity of feeling, and our spontaneous and immediate relationship with life and the Earth – the ancient feminine qualities that we all can have access to, women and men. We give space to re-discover life’s sacred meaning, and the ways in which the soul is nourished. Through deepening the sense of the sacred, in both outer and inner life, we believe that we can contribute to keeping a light in a darkening world.
The inner journey of the soul which is the centre of our work embraces also everyday life, in all its beauty and its difficulties, as it is the individual expression of our human journey.
In the outer form we offer seminars and retreats which can be found in our Events section. The seminars and retreats are held by Angela Fischer.
Meditation, dreamwork, being together and sharing what is in our hearts, is a central part of the work.
Access to this work is also given through writings by Angela Fischer – books, articles and essays – and through video clips and audio files. They are compiled into four subjects: The Sacred Feminine, The Earth, Life, and The Mystical Path. Occasionally, Angela Fischer gives talks during national and international events, some of which will be also made available as transcripts in the archives of this site.
