a) When visiting the website
When you visit our website www.oneness-of-life.org, the browser used on your device automatically sends information to the server of our website. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. The following information will be collected and stored until automated deletion:

• name and URL of the recalled data,
• Website from which the access is made (referrer URL),
• the browser used and, if applicable, the operating system of your computer as well as the name of your access provider.

b) When registering for our newsletter
If, pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR, you have expressly consented, we use your e-mail address to regularly send you our newsletter. The information of an e-mail address and your name is sufficient for the receipt of the newsletter .
To unsubscribe from our mailing list is possible at any time, for example via the link at the end of the newsletter. Alternatively you can also send your request to unsubscribe to onenessoflife@oneness-of-life.org by e-mail.
If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we need your name and e-mail address, which allows us to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address you have given to us and that you agree with the receipt of the newsletter.
In order to guarantee that the newsletter is mailed by mutual consent, we send you an e-mail after receiving your registration asking you to confirm your registration. Only after receiving your confirmation will we add your name to our list and activate your address. These data are used exclusively for the purpose of mailing the requested information.
We use Newsletter2Go as our Newsletter Software . Your data will be transmitted to Newsletter2Go GmbH. Newsletter2Go is prohibited from selling and using your data for purposes other than sending newsletters. Newsletter2Go is a German certified provider, which was selected according to the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation and the Federal Data Protection Act.

For questions of any kind, we offer you the opportunity to contact us via a form provided on the website. It is necessary to provide a valid e-mail address and your name so that we know the originator and are able to reply appropriately.
The data processing for the purpose of contact is in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a GDPR, based on your consent that you granted voluntarily.
The personal data that we collect for the use of the contact form will be deleted after concluding your request.

d) Online registration at events
Oneness of Life offers the possibility of registration for retreats and seminars via an online registration form. The personal data transmitted here will only be stored and processed for services related to the event (such as planning, execution, payment, etc.). Personal data collected by us for the use of the registration form will be deleted after one year.
Data processing for the purpose of online registration takes place in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a GDPR based on your voluntary consent.

A transfer of your personal data to third parties will not take place, unless, according to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR, you have expressly given your consent to this. Personal data includes all information that is used to identify your person and can be traced back to you – such as your name, e-mail address, IP address and telephone number.
4. Cookies
This website uses cookies. These are small files that your browser automatically creates and that are stored on your device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.), when you visit our site. Cookies do not harm your device, do not contain any viruses, trojans or other malicious software. Cookies store information related to the specific device that is being used. This does not mean that we receive direct knowledge of your identity.

5. Use of Video Platforms
a) Use of YouTube
Our website uses, among others, YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA, represented by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA for the integration of videos on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR et al. .
Usually, when you visit a page with embedded videos, your IP address is sent to You Tube and cookies are installed on your computer. However, we have included our Vimeo videos so that they are loaded only if you have agreed. Only then is a connection made to the You Tube servers and the plugin displayed. We also have included our YouTube videos with the enhanced privacy mode (in which case, YouTube will still contact the Google DoubleClick service, but personal data will not be evaluated according to Google’s Privacy Policy). As a result, YouTube does not store any information about visitors unless they watch the video. If you click the video, your IP address will be sent to YouTube, and YouTube will know that you have watched the video. If you are logged in to YouTube, this information will also be assigned to your user account (you can prevent this by logging out of YouTube before watching the video).
We have no knowledge of, or influence on, the potential collection and usage of your data by YouTube.

b) Use of Vimeo
Our website also uses the provider Vimeo for the integration of videos on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR et al. Vimeo is operated by Vimeo, LLC, headquartered at 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011.
Usually, when you visit a page with embedded videos, your IP address is sent to Vimeo and cookies are installed on your computer. However, we have included our Vimeo videos so that they are loaded only if you have agreed. Only then is a connection made to the Vimeo servers and the plugin displayed. Which of our sites you have visited, will be transmitted to the Vimeo server through this connection. If you are logged in as a member of Vimeo, they refer this information to your personal user account. When using the plugin like clicking the start button of a video, Vimeo also refers this information to your user account. - to demand the limitation of processing of your personal data, in accordance with art. 18 GDPR, as far as the accuracy of the data is disputed by you, the processing is unlawful, but you refuse deletion of the data and we no longer need them, but you need them for asserting, exerting or defending legal claims, or you have lodged an objection against the processing in accordance with art. 21 GDPR;
- to obtain your personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, usual and machine-readable format, or to request that it is forwarded to another person in charge, in accordance with Art. 20 GDPR;
